Kaisercraft Texture Stamps – Vintage Tag

Kaisercraft’s Texture Stamps have to be THE most used products in my crafting stash.  I am by no means exaggerating when I say that I use them on almost every project!  They are incredibly versatile, and suit any style of project or crafter.  I used them to create a lovely vintage look for this quick tag project – hopefully it gives you all a few ideas on how to use these wonderful products…

I began by making the butterfly embellishment.  I inked up the Diamonds Kaisercraft Texture Stamp with Versamark and stamped it onto a punched out white butterfly.  With a sprinkling of Aged Bronze embossing powder and a blast from a heat gun, the butterfly was all blinged up!  I then used an ink blending tool and some Distress Inks to build up some colour.

For the tag background, I used Versamark to ink the Script Kaisercraft Textures Stamp over the white card.  I added a sprinkling of Aged Scarlet embossing powder, and then blasted it with a heat gun.  Using an ink blending tool, I built up some brown shades around the tag to add to the gorgeous vintage effect.

Using some scraps of the Story of Fall papers, I punched out some circles to add some pattern to the tag.  I then glued on the butterfly, blinged it all up with some red dew drops and Dark Chocolate Liquid Pearls, and finally tied some string through the hole of the tag to tie in with the vintage look!
