I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new Prima Doll stamps in the Crafters’ Palette shop, and the Kaisercraft Sandy Toes Collection is the perfect accompaniment! I adore nautical themed items, so I set to work making a card and tag to share with you.
I started off with my tag, layering some of the lovely Sandy Toes papers (Surf Board and Waves) to make a beach scene. I then paper-pieced my Prima Doll Camille’s dress, as the Prima Dolls just cry out to be paper-pieced! I did this by stamping the image multiple times onto different cardstock. I then cut out individual sections and layered up onto my final image.
I used a piece of Hessian Trim to tie in with the natural feel of the tag, and even added some real seashells I collected on our seaside holiday last year!
Some knotted Hemp Cord really complements the look too, so I used this in the card as well, which features the paper-pieced Collette Stamp, and of course more of the gorgeous Sandy Toes papers – I especially love the anchor pattern on the reverse of the Flip Flops paper.
And that’s my card and tag all done. I do love making several co-ordinating items from the same papers, and with these 12×12 sheets, you can make loads! I hope you like them.
