Prima Rossibelle Scrapbook Page

I was inspired this month by a photograph of my two children. I love the bright pink of the flowers in the background on the photo, and the dusky pink of my daughter’s dress against all the greenery. So when I saw the Prima Rossibelle Collection, I knew that the papers, flowers and embellishments would be perfect to create a layout for my photo.

I started off with a dark pink piece of cardstock for the background, and the paper Lucky Charm from the collection.

I tore out three small sections from the lucky charm paper and then using the paper Wildflower, I measured and cut three pieces that I could stick underneath the holes, so you could see them poking through. I then went around all edges with a distress tool and a pink ink pad.

I decided to add some Taupe Web Trim to the edges of the holes, which I think adds a nice vintage touch.

Next, I matted my photo on to the Wildflower paper, and again distressed the edges. I picked out a chipboard corner from Tando Creative and embossed it using Stampendous Embossing Powder in Aged Rose. These embossing powders are my absolute favourite!

I added some stamping to the page using a Heart Texture stamp from Impression Obsession and a StazOn ink pad in Black.

To finish the page off, I chose lots of elements and flowers from the collection, and added them around the page. This layout took me just under 30 mins to make and I enjoyed working with this gorgeous collection!
