If you’re looking for a truly scrummy paper collection, look no further than the absolutely stunning Prima Rossibelle collection. The papers are to die for. Gorgeous designs with rose gold metallic debossed touches on almost all the papers. The chipboard ephemera includes all my favourite things (like bingo boards, tickets and dominoes), and basically, I’m in love!
So my project needed to be something that would showcase this collection, and would give me a chance to use as many of the different elements as I could. A chipboard heart mini book seemed like the perfect option!
My first thought was that this absolutely had to have one of the gorgeous flowers on the front of the book. They match the papers perfectly, and carry through the metallic theme. I added a little butterfly for interest. If you don’t have any, these are really to make with a butterfly punch!
Ok, confession time. I’m not usually a fan of sequins. I don’t know why I don’t like them, but I find them a little tacky, and until now had never used them on a project before. But the sequins that came with this collection..? Gorgeous! They’re the same rose gold colour that’s present in the papers, and not only did I use them, I may have gone a little overboard because I loved them so much!
Several of the papers have smaller designs on them that can easily be used as a focal point for a smaller project. This metallic heart from the Vintage Memories paper is one of them.
Bingo boards and tokens. Don’t ask me why, but they make me happy! Add a pretty butterfly and some lace, and my final page is done.
And that’s my mini book. And I still have loads and loads left for scrapbook pages and cards or other projects. I just need to stop myself from sticking those sequins to everything in the meantime!
