Terms and Conditions

Any order made with Crafters’ Palette is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Crafters’ Palette reserves the right to change or discontinue any products, prices, terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Making a Purchase

Simply browse through our online shop and add to the basket any items you wish to purchase.  Once you have finished your selection, click on checkout.  You will then be asked to submit your details and complete your order.

Crafters’ Palette accept payment via PayPal, a payment system that we have chosen for its proven online transaction security.  Through PayPal, we can accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Maestro, Credit and Debit cards.  All transactions will be in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Orders including 12″ x 12″ scrapbook papers must have a total value of over £10 (not including postage) due to p&p costs.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email to confirm your purchase.  This email does not guarantee that the products you have ordered are in stock.  If you have made a mistake in your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing the order so we can correct the error.

We aim to dispatch your goods within 48 hours of your payment being cleared. You will receive an email when your order has been sent.  Please allow at least 3 days for delivery.

While we strive to keep our prices accurate at all times, it is possible that prices may occasionally be incorrect. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the correct price, at which point you may either reconfirm your order at the new price and pay the excess, or cancel the order and receive a full refund. Please allow 21 days to receive any refunds.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

While we strive to keep our stock levels accurate at all times, we may find that an item you have ordered is not in stock.  If this should occur, we will either refund you the cost of that item, or contact you to arrange an alternative.  Please allow 21 days to receive any refunds.

Delivery

Crafters’ Palette currently only delivers within the UK.  Postage costs £3.25 and takes 3-5 days.  Postage to BFPO, Highlands and Islands addresses will be charged at cost price.

If your parcel has been despatched, but you have not received your purchases within 10 days of placing the order, please contact us.  We will reply as quickly as possible and will do our best to locate your parcel.  If your order has unfortunately been lost in the post, it will be at our discretion whether we send a replacement or refund you.

Missing Items

Parcels are checked before being sent to prevent items being missed from orders.  If an item is missing from your order however that is included on your Invoice, please contact us.  If the product is not included and should have been sent, we will either refund you the cost of that item, or contact you to arrange an alternative.  Please allow 21 days to receive any refunds.

Faulty Items

If you should receive faulty or damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt to arrange return of the item.   We cannot replace or refund faulty items if we have not been informed within 24 hours after delivery.  Upon receipt, we will examine the item and will notify you of your refund within 21 days.  If the product is deemed faulty, a full refund will be issued.  Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable.

When returning goods we recommend that you obtain receipt of postage from the Post Office as proof of postage.  Postage for returned goods will not be paid for by Crafters’ Palette.  We cannot be held liable for the loss of returned goods in transit.

Cancelling an Order

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel the contract formed with us when you purchased products on the site.  You can cancel the contract for any reason and at any time within the cancellation period (see below).

The cancellation period starts when we send you the dispatch confirmation email (this email confirms that your order has been accepted by us, and therefore that a contract has been formed between us).  The cancellation period ends 14 calendar days after the date on which you receive your order.  Please see the example below:

You place an order on 2nd June.  We send you a dispatch confirmation email on 3rd June.  You receive your products on 7th June.  The period for cancelling the contract starts on 2nd June, and ends on 21st June (14 days after delivery).

Should you wish to cancel your order, please clearly state that you wish to cancel your order in an email addressed to [email protected] Please include your name and order number in this email.  This email must be sent within the 14-day cancellation period.

After we have confirmed receipt of your email, please return the items.  You must do this no later than 14 days after you have notified us of the cancellation.   Please note that you will have to pay the cost of returning the relevant products to us.

Upon receiving the products, we will reimburse all payments received from you in respect of the products, including delivery charges.  We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any products supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handing by you.  The reimbursement will be paid via PayPal within 14 days after receiving the returned goods.  We are not obliged to give you a refund until we receive the products back from you.

Please note that this cancellation right does not apply to any personalised products, any products made to your specifications, or other products which we have specified as non-returnable.

Returns

You have 90 days from the dispatch date to return full-price items to us for a refund.  Sale items must be returned within 14 days from the dispatch date for a refund.  Please allow 21 days to receive refunds.

Unless an item is faulty, unwanted items need to be returned in a re-saleable condition.  Please keep all original packaging, and return the items undamaged.

Promotional Codes

Coupons may be entered at the checkout to redeem gift vouchers or discounts.  Please see individual gift voucher or discount code for terms and conditions.  Coupons will be activated upon updating your cart.

Please check the conditions of your code – if it does not work on your order, it may be because an item in your shopping bag is excluded from a promotion or that the code has expired.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the terms and conditions for a particular promotional code, promotional codes cannot be combined and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount.

Gift Vouchers

Crafters’ Palette Gift Vouchers are available in £5, £10, £20, £50 and £100 denominations, and can be used against any online purchase (excluding postage costs).  To buy vouchers, please click here.

Customers may purchase multiple gift vouchers in a single transaction, however if they are intended for different recipients, please note these can only be sent to a single address.  To send vouchers to multiple addresses, each voucher must be purchased in separate transactions.  Please note that there are no postage costs for the delivery of gift vouchers.

Vouchers can be redeemed at the online checkout by typing in their unique coupon code.  A maximum of 3 gift vouchers may be redeemed per online transaction.

Gift Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Gift Vouchers are only valid for 12 months; once this time has elapsed, the voucher will become void and you will no longer be able to redeem the voucher.

Crafters’ Palette will not accept liability for lost or stolen Gift Vouchers.

Exclusion of Liability

No liability will be accepted for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of the use of any products supplied by Crafters’ Palette.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your consent.  All personal information that we hold will be held securely, and will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete it or correct it promptly.
